La Have House

Perched high atop a drumlin of gravelly soil left over from the glacial period, our flagship site had seen the coming of Samuel du Champlain and Pierre Du Gua de Monts in the early 1600s. Since then, shipbuilding, logging, farming, and much, much more have taken place. This location is rich in history and natural beauty, and our clients love to immerse themselves in the nature that surrounds them.

LaHave House hosts sixty-six adults with special needs. We have a full-service kitchen, full-time nursing staff, and dedicated support from doctors, clergy, dietitians, and more.

This location offers daily recreational and educational programming. From walking or gardening to puzzle making and art, clients have ample developmentally appropriate activities to engage their body, mind, and spirit. Combined with being the host for our client-approved L.I.T.E.S. program, La Have House is bustling with activity at every turn.

This location is also the main site for our administrative services. You will find our dedicated team of professionals here working diligently behind the scenes to ensure all the resources possible are available to staff to provide a safe, caring, and engaging enhanced living experience for our clients.

“I love it here. I love the nature and going to the mall. This place soothes my needs, and people help me to get things done.”
